It only makes sense that humanity will become like their degenerate and depraved idols because these idols are created in the image of their degenerate and depraved human creators. In addition, those who trust in and worship such idols will reflect the image of their idolatrous creation. Our postmodern Church and culture are marked by the blemishes of a consistent pursuit of idolatrous image bearing.
